George Clooney will appear in Milan court
Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney will appear in the Milan Court, as he accused three men for using his name for a famous fashion line.
The superstar is likely to appear in the court on July 16, 2010.
According to a judge, the 49-year-old actor takes a=change again three men for using his name wrongly for a fashion label. He will appear as a civil plaintiff at the trial, which is scheduled to take place on July 16. According to ANSA news agency, the lawyer of the celeb, Grazia Maria Mantelli has confirmed that George Clooney would be there in the court at the right time.
The court case dated back to April in the year of 2008. Three unnamed suspects arranged a fashion show in a famous and posh hotel in Milan. These three were accused of fraud and forgery.
As a matter of fact, the actor will be seen to take strong actions against these three people, who have wrongly misused his name in a fashion show as well as for a fashion line. These three people are also charged with accusation like possession of stolen items.
The Judge, Pietro Caccialanza has ensured enough security for the star as it is quite assumed that he would be surrounded by his fans and followers once he would be down on the street of the fashion capital of the world. The Judge said, “There will be a lot of people, I imagine.” He also promised the fans of the star that they can “come close to their hero”.
The ‘Up in the Air’ celeb is a regular visitor to Milan, Italy. He has also a villa on Lake Como, which is situated in the northern part of the country. Moreover, he was also being linked with an Italian model and actress, Elisabetta Canalis for some time. However, a few months ago, the ‘Ocean's Eleven’ star has rumored to leave his Italian temptation.
According to Grazia magazine, the breakup was more due to Elisabetta extrovert nature. A close source said, “George loved her, but didn’t want that lifestyle. They’d been on the rocks since February, but held on to make it through awards season. They decided to go to the Oscars ceremony in LA together, but they didn’t attend any showbiz after-parties together. George jetted straight out to Hawaii on his own for a few days later.”
The entire episode looks like a real life courtroom drama for the actor. However, the 49-year-old heartthrob is all set to drag the miscreants down in the Milan court, at least if the sources are to be believed.
The star will be seen in a thriller “The American”, which is going to hit the theatres on September 1. We wish all the best to George for the movie as well as his court case.
