Is Cameron Diaz ready for motherhood?
The 37-year-old siren may be a stunner in the silver screen, but she cannot be brave enough to invite parenthood in her life, not in the near future.
She herself admits that she is not at all comfortable with the concept of motherhood.
In an interview to InSytle magazine, the Cameron Diaz said, “I can be a pretty good aunt, but whether I'm a good aunt or a crappy aunt is really not remotely the same question as me being a good parent or a crappy parent. It doesn’t quite have the same impact.” One of the Charlie’s Angels also admits that her family comes first for her, but still she does not think that she can handle a kid, neither has she felt any necessity of a child in her life.
One of the leading women in Hollywood industry feels that kids can change lives all of a sudden. And in such a juncture, where she is enjoying her stardom completely, she does not seem to be in a mood to have babies. She revealed, “Having children changes your life drastically, and I really love my life. Children aren't the only things that bring you gratification and happiness, and it's easier to give life than to give love, so I don't know. That kind of change would have to be either very well thought out, or a total mistake – a real oops!"
The actor has been linked up with Alex Rodrihuez. But she hardly seems to be discussing on her romantic love life in the interview. Without taking anyone’s name, she has said, “It's one thing when I answer questions for myself – it's another thing when I answer questions and someone else is involved. It's not fair to the other people in that equation."
Well well well…, it seems that the hazel-eyed beauty is really busy for promoting her next film, ‘Knight and Day’, opposite Tom Cruise. Knight and Day is a comedy, full of action sequences. The theme of the film is very interesting, where Tom and Diaz are playing an escapee couple. They will be seeing wondering around different parts of the globe in order to avoid a federal agent, played by Peter Sarsgaard. This film is scheduled to release in the theatres on June 6, 2010.
We wish all the best to Cameron Diaz for her next film! And who knows may be motherhood is also not too far from her life. No, no, we are not trying to start a gossip! We only wish that she tastes the blessings of motherhood soon.
