In 1900, the average life-span of a woman was 50 years. But as things have changed the life expectancy of an average American woman is 82 years and is continuously rising. Women are probably one the most neglected beings of our family. Lack of information and carelessness often cause serious problems to the women. But, if men understand and support them they can take care of themselves in a much better way.

The main causes behind women’s health problems are eating disorders, stress, alcoholism, depressions and addictions. It is suggested that a woman should maintain her waist size around 35 inches. Beyond that she is likely to develop serious diseases like heart diseases, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Significant physical activity and eating regular meals lowers the risk of these ailments.

Smoking is very harmful to a woman’s health. Unfortunately, great number of women continue to smoke knowing the risk of smoking. Smoking is especially harmful when they are expecting a baby. Because of their anatomic differences, women suffering from heart ailments die at a very young age as compared to men. So, they should develop their own healthy heart program.

A woman’s reproductive system plays an important role throughout her life. Due to the complexity of her reproductive system they can develop a number of problems ranging from yeast infections of the vagina to fibroids of the uterus or cysts of the ovary.
